From Chaos to Calm – Helping Busy Mums Reclaim Time for Themselves
Always on the go, juggling endless tasks with hardly any time for yourself? Sound familiar?
My mission is to support mums in reclaiming time for themselves.
I’m Cheryl — a busy mum of two, running my own business and a household. I know all too well what it’s like to try and fit in some movement when everything else seems to take over your life.
I’ve been to classes at the gym, but over time I just couldn’t make it work and would end up cancelling. This was also one of the main issues with clients attending my in-person classes too.
So, I started fitting in movement whenever I could — while dinner was cooking, in between meetings, or before the kids got up — and the results were just as good as when I was doing hour-long workouts. Only now, I could do it at home, in a short amount of time, or alongside something I was already doing — no overwhelm and no extra thing added to my list.
I felt the same “feel-good” feelings after a short workout, had more energy, and my mind felt calm yet more alert and clear.
And so, this is what I practice today and teach other mums the same — If I can do it, so can you!
I Understand the Struggles
Lack of time, guilt for prioritising yourself, the unpredictability of mum life, and the constant “mum brain” — trust me, I get it. You’re not alone, and there is a way forward.
Movement and self-care don’t have to be overwhelming or time-consuming. The power of short workouts — yes, just 10–15 minutes — can really help:
- Boost your mood: Short workouts release feel-good hormones that help reduce stress and anxiety.
- Improve energy & focus: Quick bursts of movement increase blood flow and oxygen to the brain, helping you feel more alert and energised.
- Build consistency: Consistency is key! Short, realistic workouts can easily fit into your day — before the kids get up, while dinner’s cooking, or after bedtime.
Consistency is where the magic happens! When short workouts are done regularly, they bring lasting benefits for a strong, well-looked-after body and a clear, calm mind.
Progress Over Perfection
It’s time to let go of the “all or nothing” mindset and start prioritising progress over perfection.
With the right support, community, and practical tools tailored for busy mums — I’ve got you!
